Will the snaps line up? 

It's an old cover that has stretched and shrunk, so there will be misplaced snaps; it's no more than a half dozen in our experience. It can vary depending on the condition of the cover.  

What colors do you recommend?

Darker colors will fade, and very light will show dirt. We recommend sea gull grey and hemp beige. 

The cover has holes and tears, will this work as a pattern? 

Yes, that's perfectly fine; 95% of the covers arrive with tape, patches, tears, holes, dirty etc. But we request the entire snap or clip perimeter is there.  

When do I pay? 

Pay over the phone after the cover is complete. 

What's the turnaround time? 

2 - 3 weeks during peak season and 1-2 weeks during off season.

We do canvas repairs year round at our shop in Minnesota. The Top Gun repairs tell us the canvas is durable and water resistant over time. Sunbrella is sometimes brought up, since it has a big market in the United States for a variety of applications. It's great fabric for the right job; but we prefer Top Gun on pontoons because of less stretch and more durability over time. 

Will you repair my old canvas? 

Yes. We can restitch, fix snaps, replace clips, patch, etc. Repair pricing varies between 50$ and 250$, plus shipping and tax. 

Can I re-waterproof the top?

We cannot waterproof it. There are products to improve water resistance, but they will need future applications and don't change the underlying issue: The fabric itself has deteriorated. We can direct you to such products. It's like replacing a broken windshield with duct tape in our experience. 

How do I ship it?

Roll the canvas up and ship it in a box. We use FedEx but you can use any carrier you prefer. Please provide a piece of paper with your contact information, shipping address, and color choice.
